Terms of Service

These terms describe use of the Northgate Scale website. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. A separate written proposal or service agreement will set the terms for any paid project.

1. Using this website

You may browse this website and contact us about our services. Please do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or copy content in a way that infringes another person's rights.

2. Services, prices, and project scope

Our packages are one-time projects priced in U.S. dollars: Website Build $400 (regular $800), Google & SEO Optimization $500 (regular $1,000), and Website + SEO $800 (regular $1,600). Hosting, domain renewal, and ongoing services are separate unless expressly included in your written agreement.

The Website Build includes up to five pages, responsive design, page copy drafted from your supplied business details, essential page titles and descriptions, and domain-connection assistance. You provide accurate information, branding, and permissioned photos and approve the final copy. Extra pages, online stores, and custom applications are quoted separately.

The SEO package covers one Google Business Profile, local keyword research and on-page optimization for up to five existing website pages, a branded review landing page, a downloadable QR code linking to it, and handover guidance. The combined package includes both scopes. Website editing access and Business Profile eligibility and verification requirements must be confirmed before work starts. Review-page hosting has separate ongoing costs.

Each package includes two revision rounds within the agreed scope. A round means one consolidated list of feedback; additional rounds and scope changes require a separate quote. Delivery is planned within 14 business days after the deposit, complete content, and required access are received. Client delays, third-party approvals, or agreed scope changes may extend the timeline. Your written agreement confirms the start date and final scope.

Payments and client cancellations

A 50% deposit is due before work starts. The remaining 50% is due before launch or final handover. If the client cancels the project, the initial deposit is retained, except where a refund is required by applicable law or agreed in writing. These arrangements will be confirmed in the written project agreement before payment. A booking or inquiry alone does not start a paid project.

3. Search results and business outcomes

Search rankings, leads, traffic, and sales depend on many factors outside our control. We do not promise a particular Google position or a guaranteed business result, star rating, or review count. Our review pages invite honest feedback from all customers and do not filter review access based on ratings or offer incentives for reviews. Illustrative concepts are examples of design, not evidence of client results.

4. Your content and account access

When commissioning a project, please provide accurate business information and only share content you own or are authorized to use. Any access needed for the work will be discussed as part of the project. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information through general inquiries.

5. Website content and third-party links

The Northgate Scale name, designs, and site content belong to their respective owners. You may link to this website; other reuse requires permission unless otherwise allowed by law. Client work and third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights.

External websites and scheduling providers have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or operation.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep information accurate and the site available, but content may be updated and access may occasionally be interrupted. The website is provided for general information. Nothing here changes any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Updates to these website terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. The written agreement for an existing project remains the reference for that project.
